A family man (marriage of 38 years, two thriving children--and a grandson--in NYC pursuing theatrical careers and family), the heart of my professional life has always been in making things. Making theatre, writing novels, crafting plays, composing songs...
On Ash Wednesday of 2007, I picked up a camera as a discipline of engagement for the Lenten Season, and I've been shooting ever since.
You know, many people are nervous about headshot sessions. I understand that. What I've discovered is that headshot sessions can be fun. There's nothing more exciting that a creative process shared by a team of people committed to making something amazing. Here's the thing...and I believe this: Everyone--and that means you-- has amazing qualities. Everyone has beauty ready to come tumbling out. Each of us has the capacity to open our spirits up so that the best of what's inside emerges through our eyes and our subconscious "micro-expressions."
And when that happens, it's unforgettable...
Photography is an intimate form of art making, and I love the interaction I have with my clients as we work together to make images that capture something of their unique qualities of spirit. Frankly, in my studio, and on location, we're gonna work hard together, have lots of fun, and make something we can both be excited about and proud to share.
If you need a headshot (or some other piece of photography--pitch me a project, I'm open), shoot me an email or a text, or call me.
Let's make an impression that's unforgettable...
